FLASH MISSION: FLASH is dedicated to providing safe, healthy, fun, & recreational opportunities to all children during their programs.

WE START August 25, 2009

LOCATIONS: Covington & Hannum Elementary Schools

HOURS: Before School: 7:00AM until school begins After School: School Dismissal until 6:00PM

BENEFITS OF THE PROGRAM

Supervisor to Child ratio 1-10

SIGN UP EVERY MONTH: When signing up for 2, 3, or 4 days per week, you pick set days for the whole month. You need to pick these at least 1 week prior to start date.

EARLY DISMISSAL: These days are included in monthly cost.

DAYS OFF: On school days off & holiday breaks the Park District is offering a 7AM to 6PM program, including small field trips. Costs are separate from monthly charge. Information on these days will in the monthly newsletters and separate flyers.

SNACKS: Healthy snacks give kids the nutrients & energy they need to keep their body's running strong & smart. (PM only)

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES: Daily indoor & outdoor activities & games give children multiple ways to get physical exercise, socialize, & enjoy the environment. SPECIAL: Instructors come once a week to teach children how to make healthier choices everyday.

ARTS &MUSIC: Children have opportunity to express themselves creatively through arts and music.

QUIET TIME: During this time children have options of homework, reading, relaxing, & more.

SPECIAL: High School Students in the area may come in & receive service hrs for helping the children with their academics.

T-SHIRT: FREE yearly t-shirt for everyone that signs up. Extra t-shirts are also available for sale for $5 per shirt.
