Located at the east end of town, the Oak View Community Center is the main
place to register for several Oak Lawn Park District programs. The dedicated Oak
View front-desk staff is willing to answer any questions on programs or services
offered by the park district. As your local community center, Oak View offers
several rental options for special events or family parties. You can rent rooms,
or schedule an organized birthday party. Besides the diverse types of recreation
programs offered at Oak View (such as fitness programs, cultural-arts classes,
hands-on art programs and preschool classes), the center features community
displays and museum-quality displays of animals, sea creatures, shells, rocks
and minerals. The center is also home to the Oak Lawn Park District Theatre
Group. The critically acclaimed group performs four musicals per year in the
facility’s newly updated gymnasium, complete with stadium-style seats. Season

Oak Lawn Park District Oak View Community Center Rental Information
For Rentals After April 30, 2010
Room Rental Rates:
Single Room (accommodates up to 50 people) $25 per hour
Double Room (accommodates up to 100 people) $39 per hour
Triple Room (accommodates up to 150 people) $49 per hour
Quad Room (accommodates up to 200 people) $59 per hour
Additional Fees: (one time charge – NOT per hour)
Non-Resident = $15
Room w/ sink = $5
Tables & Chairs (6 chairs to 1 table)
1-10 Tables = $19 (typical party of 50)
11-20 Tables = $39 (typical party of 100)
21-30 Tables = $55 (typical party of 150)
31-40 Tables = $75 (typical party of 200)
41-50 Tables = $95
51-60 Tables = $115
1 - 50 Chairs = $29
51-100 Chairs = $59
101-150 Chairs = $85
151-200 Chairs = $115

Deposits are needed to book a rental. Deposits are NOT applied towards
Rental Costs.
Rental fees are:
$100 for Single
$150 for Double
$200 for Triple
$250 for Quad.
These deposits will be deposited. A refund check issued by the Oak Lawn
Park District will be mailed back to renter after the rental minus any
additional fees that were acquired. (If paid with a credit card, a credit
will be issued to the card.)
Rentals cancelled with a 15-day (or more) notice prior to rental will be
given 100% refund of their deposit. Rentals cancelled between 8-14 days
prior to rental date will be given 50% refund of their deposit. Deposits
on rentals cancelled 7 days or less are non-refundable.
We accept cash, check, Visa or MasterCard.
