Renovated in the late 1990s, Columbus Manor Park—located at 99th St. & Moody Ave.—is a 15-acre park at the eastern side of Oak Lawn. Features of the park's colorful new play structure include a safe climbing "rock" wall with primitive cave drawings on its backside and two blue slides. Baseball, softball, basketball, tennis and sand volleyball can be played here, and a picnic area and paved walking path welcomes families at lunchtime on warm days.
