Special Recreation Guys & Gals Social Program
Date: Tuesdays,  June - Aug. • 1:00-3:00P
Volunteers age 16 & up needed to assist at a weekly social program for adults and seniors with varying disabilities. The group plays games, enjoys a snack, and does crafts. (tm)

Special Recreation Spares & Strikes
Date: Thursdays, June - Aug.  
4:00 – 6:00P
Volunteers age 16 & up needed to assist in bowling program for people with various 
disabilities. (tm)

Special Recreation Learn To Swim Classes
Date: Wednesday Nights
Volunteers, age 16 & up, are needed to assist in swimming program for people with various disabilities. (tm) 

Special Recreation Special Olympic Sports Programs
Date: Tuesday Evenings, Year Round
Volunteers, age 16 & up, are needed to assist in Special Olympic sports programs for

Stony Creek Clean-Up Volunteer Opportunity
The Oak Lawn Park District is looking for volunteers for the annual Stony Creek Clean-up event held in conjunction with the 28th Annual Chicago River Day. In collaboration with the Friends of the Chicago River, volunteers will be working side-by-side on Saturday, May 8th, from 9:00am-12:00pm to help the environment by collecting garbage. The meeting location is at the Wolfe Wildlife Pavilion located at 109th & Laramie. The minimum age to volunteer is 8 years old, however, we are a "family-friendly" site. Younger children can enjoy the park facilities with a parent while the rest of the family works at the Chicago River Day/Stony Creek Clean-up. Make sure to arrive with a smile and clothes you don't mind getting a little dirty. Event will proceed rain or shine.

Counselor-in-Training (Age:14 -16)
The goal is to teach skills for future leadership positions. Teen must be mature, self-confident, reliable, and must possess the initiative and have genuine interest in assisting counselors and site directors with daily camp activities. 40th Annual Volleyball for Charity
Saturday, September 11th. All Day
Location: Oak Lawn Community Pavilion
Volunteers needed to help with set up/tear down, referee and score keeping duties, and assist in other areas of on responsibility day of the event.
