Million Steps Summer Challenge
We have officially completed the 2019 Oak Lawn Park District Community Steps Challenge for this summer! There were 25 individuals that participated in this challenge and recorded their activity this summer. Our community had a final step total for this summer of 22,854,324 steps, which is equivalent to about 9,240 miles! As a community, we also accumulated 95,253 active minutes while gathering steps. On average, individuals that participated in the challenge completed 10,436 steps, 43 active minutes, and 4.2 miles of activity per day. 11 participants reached their individual goal of 900,000 steps, and the group average for the summer was 822,546 steps. Great job everyone!
