Brandt Park Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

The Oak Lawn Park District Board of Commissioners cordially invites you to the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at Brandt Park (89th & Tulley Ave.). The ceremony will be Monday, October 18 at 5:30 pm. Help us celebrate Oak Lawn's newest playground and stick around for a demonstration of the Challenge Course by our Gym Ninja Instructors!

The park renovation features:

• .27 Mile Paved Walking Trail

• Painted Fitness Spots along trail (Jumping Jacks, Lunges, Squats)

• Trike Track Circuit around playground to include Caterpillar Hop Scotch and Lily Pad Hopscotch

• Ball Field renovations that include a new backstop & fencing, new aluminum players benches, ADA accessibility upgrades, water fountain w/bottle filler.

• Half-Court Basketball court

• Shade Sail, 2 picnic tables & 6 benches throughout the park.

• New playground equipment. Featuring a small climbing wall

• New Landscape Structures FitCore Extreme Fitness Court featuring the following: Rope Climb, High Step, Jump Hang, Angled Overhead Ladder, Peg Bridge, A-Frame Cargo Net, Over Under Bars

• New Security Lighting

• Cleaned/repaired existing storm sewers
