• Announcement: Our facility hours for Memorial Day (Monday, May 29) are as follows: The Administration Building, Racquet, Fitness, and Gymnastics Center, Oak View Center & Museum, and the Ice Arena will all be closed. Free Summer Fun at Oak Lawn Park District

The Oak Lawn Park District is excited to announce the release schedule of the Sunday Concerts on the Green featuring Kid's Activities and the Movies in the Park, both in conjunction with the Village of Oak Lawn. All concerts and movies are free to the public and will take place at the Village of Oak Lawn Village Green, located at 9446 S. Raymond Ave.

The Sunday Concerts on the Green line-up is as follows:

  • July 17, Dancing Noodles, 7:00-9:30 pm - Kid's Activity: Temporary Tattoos
  • July 31, Teen Showcase, 7:00-9:30 pm
  • August 7, Take Cover, 7:00-9:30 pm - Kid's Activity: Balloon Guy 
  • August 14, Fifty-One Lincoln, 7:00-9:30 pm - Kid's Activity: Bubble Show
  • August 28, Peach’s Beach Party, 7:00-9:30 pm, Kid's Activity: "Gincy's Music Show" at 5:00 pm
  • September 28, Gotham Ramblers, 6:30-9:00 pm - Kid's Activity: Reptile Guy
  • October 2, Rev Dog, 6:30-9:00 pm - Kid's Activity: Inflatables & Face Painters

The Movies in the Park will all begin at dusk (around 8:15 pm). The first movie will be Encanto on Friday, June 24, followed by Clifford: The Big Red Dog on Friday, July 22. The last movie, Ghostbusters: Afterlife will be on Friday, August 19, but will be at Centennial Park (9401 S. Oak Park Ave.).

“This is a great line-up of entertainment and provides a lot of opportunities for residents to enjoy time outside together for free,” said Tom Hartwig, executive director. “We hope to see a lot of people out having fun!”
