Due to the pandemic, we have been forced to cancel our traditional Summer Camps for the 2020 year. This includes Camp Sunshine, Camp Runamuck, Youth Camp, Teen Camp, and Sports Camp. If you were signed up for one of these programs, you should have been contacted in regards to receiving a refund.
Although we are unable to offer these specific programs, we are offering a program this summer that allows participants to get out of the house, enjoy the outdoors, and participate in fun activities! This new program will follow state guidelines and will emphasize social distancing and safe practices.
This program will primarily be outside and will have two host sites; the Oak View Center, 4625 W. 110th St., and Community Pavilion, 9401 S. Oak Park Ave., with potential additional locations based on enrollment. Group sizes will be limited to 8 campers and 2 counselors. A designated area will be assigned to each group. Each group will have limited mixing and items used. There will also be intensified cleaning and disinfecting procedures in place.
While we plan for this new program, some things may change based on the guidelines and mandates put out by the state and local government. We will do our best to communicate any changes to participants.
