No puppy school drop outs here!
The Oak Lawn Park District offers dog obedience classes at the Menard Center (5814 W. 90th St.) for all dogs. Classes offered include:
- Puppy Kindergarten (10 weeks-5 months old)
- Basic Obedience (5 months & up)
- Intermediate Obedience (8 months & up)
- Intermediate/Advanced Obedience (8 months & up)
Doggie Details
- Slip collar and 6 ft. lead is required for the first class.
- Bring your dog’s proof of shots on the first day of class.
- Human participants need to be at least 15 years old to teach dogs.
- Please wear gym shoes – NO sandals.
- Please do not bring a retractable leash.
- It is at instructor’s discretion in determining if class is appropriate for your dog.
