The Memorial Activity Center is the newest Oak Lawn Park District facility that is home to recreation programs for all generations. This building was renovated from the old Memorial Park Bathhouse in collaboration with the Village of Oak Lawn. It was made possible thanks to a $2.1 million “Park and Recreational Facility Construction Act (PARC)” grant that the Park District was awarded in 2024. It has two large multi-purpose rooms, a full-scale, restaurant-quality kitchen, lobby, reception area, and bathrooms.

Due to this week’s storms, please note the following facility updates:
- Menards Center will remain closed due to power outage
- Memorial Splash Pad and Memorial Activity Center is closed due to power outage.
- The dog park will be closed Monday for clean up.
Our parks are experiencing tree and branch damage from the storm. Our staff is actively assessing all park locations and clearing debris over the next several days.
