Menard Center Rentals

The Menard Center (90th St. & Menard Ave.) is a perfect choice for graduation parties, baby showers, meetings, etc.  It features a 35 x 100ft rental space, plus a full kitchen with an oven, stove top, refrigerator, freezer, 2 sinks and a microwave.  There is also a men’s and women’s restroom and a parking lot with 20 spaces for your rental.  For questions and availability, please call 708-857-2420.

FEES:

• Resident: $100/hour + $200 security deposit
• Non-Resident: $125/hour + $200 security deposit

HOW TO RENT:

• Complete a Menard Center Rental Application and pay the security deposit and rental fee IN FULL in order to reserve date
• Applicant must be 21 years of age 

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE:

• Patrons will only be able to access the facility with their pin from 30 minutes before their rental start time to 30 minutes after their rental end time.
• Patrons that stay in the facility past the 30-minute grace period will lose their security deposit.

CAPACITY:

• The Menard Center can accommodate up to 90 guests.
• The room is equipped with 15 tables and 90 chairs. 

CLEAN UP

• Renter is responsible for cleaning up all decorations, garbage, food and spills. 
•  All trash should be placed in the receptacles.
•  Maintenance will take down tables and chairs and sweep the floor.
  
•  IN THE EVENT OF AN EXCESSIVE MESS A CLEANING FEE WILL BE ASSESSED.

GENERAL

•  NO CONFETTI or piñatas. YOU WILL BE ASSESSED A CLEANING FEE FOR VIOLATING THIS RULE. 
•  There is NO ALCOHOL permitted on park district property. There is a kitchen with running water, a stove, oven and refrigerator available for use. 
•  DJs and bands are allowed as long as they remain inside the facility and the volume is reasonable
•  There is no wifi

OUTSIDE VENDORS:

• Outside vendors are allowed.  However, depending on the nature of the service being provided we may require a certificate of insurance naming the Oak Lawn Park District as additionally insured.  Please contact the Pavilion General Manager for additional information at pavilion@olparks.com or (708) 857-2420. 

SECURITY DEPOSIT:

• The $200 rental deposit will be returned to the patron if there are no damages or clean up fees as a result of their rental.  If security deposit was paid with cash/check the deposit will be returned via check within 2-3 weeks after the rental.  The deposit check will be made out in the name and address of the person the rental is reserved under.  If the refund check needs to be made out in a different name and address patron must notify the facility general manager in advance of the rental date via email at pavilion@olparks.com. 
• If security deposit was paid for via credit/debit card they will receive a credit to that card within 7 days after the rental date.  
• If there is any damage to Oak Lawn Park District property the security deposit will not be returned. They will be contacted by the rental coordinator in the event that we will require compensation for damages and they will be sent a copy of the bill. 

REFUND POLICY:

• Rentals that are canceled 7 days or more in advance of the scheduled rental date will be charged a 10% processing fee for the amount of the rental.
•  Rentals that are canceled within 7 days of the scheduled rental date will lose their $50 security deposit and will be charged a 10% processing fee for the amount of the rental. 
•  If they request a refund and they paid with cash/check they will have the option to receive a household credit or to receive a check in the mail. Refunds via check are processed and mailed out every two weeks per Oak Lawn Park District refund procedures. This means it could take up to 2-3 weeks to receive the refund.
