The Oak Lawn Park District is hosting two community input meetings for future projects. During these meetings, members of the Oak Lawn Park District and Upland Design Ltd, teams will be on hand to discuss what improvements and amenities to both Oak Meadows Park and the Memorial Park Recreation Building. It is encouraged for residents to participate as their feedback with have an impact on these two projects.
On Monday, June 5, starting at 6:00 pm at Memorial Park (102nd & Major Ave.) will be the first community input meeting to discuss the improvements and amenities to the recreation building at Memorial Park. On Tuesday, June 6, at 6:00 pm, will be the second community input meeting for the Oak Meadows Park (5019 W. 99th St.) project. A more clear scope of the project will be discussed based on the results of the first community input meeting.
We re excited about both of these projects, and any time we can ask the community for input, we re going to jump all over it, said Tom Hartwig, executive director. We ve utilized these meetings in the past with great results, and we re hoping for more of the same.
