Free Monarch Festival Set for August 26

Save the date for the Oak Lawn Park District’s free Monarch Festival on Saturday, August 26 from 1:00-4:00 pm at the Oak View Center & Museum (4625 W. 110th St.). This event is suited for all ages.
The purpose of this event is to celebrate the journey of the Monarch Butterfly and bring much needed awareness to the issues they face today and as they migrate to Mexico. There will be fun and educational activities for all ages that include:
Butterfly Arts & Crafts
Caterpillar Aquarium
Interactive Migration Game
Educational Booths
Movie on Butterfly Migration to Mexico
Native Plant, Seed, and Local Honey Vendors
Music & more!
