LEGAL NOTICE

Oak Lawn Park District notice for request for Qualifications for Wolfe Wildlife Bike Trail.

 

Notice is hereby given that Oak Lawn Park District shall receive statements of qualifications VIA E-MAIL no later than 4:00 PM (CST) August 3, 2023 for Phase I, II and III Engineering Services for the Wolfe Wildlife Bike Trail.

 

Project funding will include ITEP funding so all work shall be in accordance with IDOT guidelines. Oak Lawn Park District is soliciting statements of qualifications in accordance with the Park District’s policy for Qualifications based selection from all firms desiring to be considered for this project.

 

The SOQ and any questions shall be addressed to the Oak Lawn Park District Superintendent of Park & Planning: Ryan Gory. Questions shall be submitted via email to rgory@olparks.com All questions must be received by 4:00 PM (CST) on Thursday, July 27, 2023. A response to all questions received will be posted on the Park District ’s website by 4:00 PM (CST) on Tuesday, August 1, 2023. It is the responsibility of the consultant to ensure they have any pertinent documents from the Park District ’s website including addendums. Written acknowledgement of each addendum shall be included with all statement of qualifications submissions. Oral explanations will not be binding.

 

Proposed work includes Phase I, II and II engineering for proposed improvements including removal and installation of new asphalt pavement multi-use trail throughout park including ADA ramp improvements, and associated work. Bike trail striping, signage, new lighting and lawn restoration will also be included.

 

Neither this request for qualifications nor selection of a proposing firm by the Park District will commit the Park District to award the project, to pay any costs incurred in the preparation of a response to this requires, and/ or to procure or contract for services or supplies.
