Established in 1966, Lewandowski Park, located at 89th St. & 49th Ct., just west of Cicero Avenue, is Oak Lawn’s own tree arboretum. Several different varieties of trees bloom throughout this 4-acre park. A walking path makes visiting the different trees easy for visitors of all abilities.
Thanks to community feedback in 2023, this park underwent a renovation to install a brand-new 8-foot walking path with 15 new LED lights, and major tree trimming.
