Gymnastics Drop-Off Programs
We encourage parents to go for a walk, grab a coffee, run an errand, use our workstations, work out, or take another child to the park during their child’s class time. We do expect during the 1st week of classes that some little ones may have an adjustment period at the start of class. In our experience allowing your child to have a little independence by going to class by themselves goes a long way in their level of participation and what they will learn during class time.
What makes the transition easier for your child?
Be on time for class, and go to the bathroom before class time. Encourage independence by dropping off your child for class and returning at the end of class time. For first-time preschool gymnasts, our program is a great way to prepare them for preschool. This is a shorter version of what they will experience when they go to school. To participate in our gymnastics programs participants need to be able to follow directions, focus on a task, socialize with other kids, attend class independently, and be fully potty trained.
What to bring to class:
- We ask that each participant be dress appropriately and ready for class. It is recommended that participants registered for a class longer than 1.25 hours bring a filled water bottle.
- Participants will use the cubby holes to place their shoes and water bottle while they are in class.
