Important Membership Note:
Please be advised that beginning Monday, August 17, 2026, open swim and lap swim sessions will be held at Centennial Aquatic Center. This change ensures that you can continue to enjoy these programs in a safe and well-equipped facility.
Important Open Swim Information:
During open swim sessions at Central Pool and the Centennial Aquatic Center, the Oak Lawn Park District provides accommodations for Day Camp participants as well as approved outside groups from June 1 through August 7.
A valid ID or Pool Membership Card is required to be shown every time you enter the pool. Photocopies, photos, or any form of digital reproduction of pool membership cards will not be accepted. If you do not have a valid ID to prove residency, the non-resident rate will be charged. To receive the senior pricing, a valid ID that shows your birth date must be provided. If you do not have a valid ID to prove your age, the individual rate will apply.
Either of the two pools can close or their operating hours can be adjusted at the discretion of the park district for any of the reasons listed:
- Air temperature is below 70 degrees
- Lightning is sighted or threatening weather
- The water is not chemically balanced
- There is a mechanical failure
- Lack of sufficient lifeguards
- Pool has less than 15 swimmers for 30 minutes
- Fecal / Vomit Accidents
